Your controller, live on stream.
Clean, fully customizable input overlays for OBS. Pick a skin, make it yours, paste one link. That is the whole setup.
Demo input
Plug in a controller and press any button.
How it works
From zero to on stream in about a minute.
No plugin to install and no account to create. You can sign up later to keep your overlay.
- 1
Pick a skin
Start from an Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro or neutral layout.
- 2
Make it yours
Change colors, sizes and deadzones. Drag any button where you want it.
- 3
Paste into OBS
Add the link as a Browser Source. Your inputs are live.
One link
Nothing else to keep open.
The overlay reads your controller itself, right inside OBS. Close the browser, start your game, go live.
- No plugin, driver or background app
- Edits show up without refreshing the source
- The link is read-only, safe even if it appears on screen
Works out of the box on Windows. macOS and dual-PC support are on the way.
Browser Source
Features
Looks like your stream, not like everyone else's.
Edit while you are live
Saved changes reach OBS in a moment. No refreshing the source, no restarting.
Your colors
Idle, pressed and accent colors, opacity and outlines that match your scene.
Every button, where you want it
Drag any element into place or hide the ones you do not need. Sticks only? Done.
Deadzones you control
Tune stick and trigger deadzones so a drifting stick does not twitch on stream.
Transparent by design
No background to crop or key out. The overlay sits right on top of your game.
Press effects
A short accent flash on every press makes fast inputs easy to follow.
Quiet when it matters
No error text or spinners on stream. If anything drops, it reconnects silently.
Custom CSS
Restyle anything with your own CSS when the editor is not enough.
Skins
Made for the controller in your hands.
Every skin knows its controller's layout, labels and glyphs.
Xbox controller overlay for OBS
The classic A, B, X, Y layout with offset sticks, a four-way d-pad and analog triggers that fill as you squeeze them.
PS5 & PS4 controller overlay for OBS
Side-by-side sticks, the familiar cross, circle, square and triangle glyphs and analog trigger bars that show exactly how hard you are pressing.
Nintendo Switch Pro Controller overlay for OBS
Nintendo's face button layout with A on the right and B on the bottom, offset sticks and a round d-pad.
Gamepad input overlay for OBS
A neutral layout without brand-specific labels. A good fit for fight sticks, retro pads and anything else that shows up as a standard gamepad.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
What is gamepad.lol?
gamepad.lol shows your controller inputs on stream. You design an overlay in the browser, get a link, and add that link to OBS as a Browser Source. Every button press, stick movement and trigger pull appears live.
Do I need to install anything?
No. There is no plugin, no app and no driver. The overlay is a web page, so all you need is OBS and a controller plugged into the same PC.
Is it free?
Yes. You can create an overlay without an account and it stays up for 7 days. A free account keeps up to three overlays for good and removes the watermark. Pro adds unlimited overlays and custom CSS for $5 a month.
Which controllers work?
Anything your PC recognizes as a gamepad: Xbox, PlayStation (DualSense and DualShock), Switch Pro, and most third-party pads, arcade sticks and hitboxes with a gamepad mode. There are dedicated skins for Xbox, PlayStation and Switch Pro, plus a neutral one for everything else.
Does it work with Streamlabs, Twitch Studio or other streaming apps?
Any app that can add a browser source should work, since the overlay is just a web page. OBS Studio is the one we test on day to day.
Do I have to refresh OBS after changing my overlay?
No. Changes you save in the editor show up in OBS within a moment, without touching the Browser Source. You can tweak colors and layout mid-stream.
Your controller, on stream in a minute.
No install, no account. Pick a skin, make it yours, paste one link into OBS.
